💥 NEW FEATURE! 💥 A Virtual Disciple-Making Coach Utilizing the Tools of the Disciple-Making Collective
The latest tool in the Missional Disciple-Making Premium Cohort
🛠️ Real-Time Missional Coaching for Real-Life Disciple-Making Opportunities 🛠️
I’m pumped to introduce the second online tool from the Missional Disciple-Making Collective Substack, our Virtual Disciple-Making Coach, a custom GPT. You can use the Simple Bible Notes App for your personal growth in the Word of God AND the Virtual Coach for advice on how to handle that disicple-able person in the place where you live, learn, work, and play.
It’s a sort of 24/7 companion that gives you instant coaching for real-time disciple-making moments. It’s designed to help you navigate those everyday situations when your heart says, “I want to love them well,” but your insecurity whispers, “I have NO IDEA what I’m doing!”
👇 Here is a little more detail! 👇
Let me tell you a story.
Imagine a co-worker who had just lost their spouse.
Every day, you’d see each other in the breakroom. The atmosphere was heavy, and the grief was visible. You knew this person was in what we call a disciple-able moment of life. You wanted to say something meaningful, maybe even share the hope of Jesus, but didn’t know how to begin a spiritual conversation without feeling awkward or out of place.
And you DEFINITELY didn’t know how to enter into a longer-term disciple-making relationship!
We’ve all been there. Wanting to bring the hope of Jesus into a moment of pain, but not knowing the right next step. That’s exactly the kind of situation the Virtual Disciple-Making Coach was built for.
In that moment, you could type a few words, and the coach would guide you, gently and clearly, through how to move from Casual → Crucial → Spiritual Conversations. It might suggest something as simple as:
“I can’t imagine what this has been like for you. I’ve been praying for you, would it be okay if I prayed right now?”
Then you have turned a moment of sympathy into a moment of Spirit-filled care that could lead to a Disciple-Making relationship.
Here’s what this digital coach is and isn’t.
🚫 It’s not a substitute for face-to-face coaching or live community.
🚫 It’s not meant to replace your X-Group, your discipling community, or those shoulder-to-shoulder training moments that shape us so deeply.
✅ It IS a custom GPT to be loaded into your Chat GPT account for ongoing support that will help you navigate the Disciple-Making Pathway from first spiritual conversation all the way to launching a Simple Church or anything in between.
✅ But it is a tool to walk with you in real-time, helping you take the next faithful step when you’re in the middle of real-life disciple-making.
When you’re standing in the grocery store aisle, sitting across from a friend at lunch, or scrolling through a text from someone who’s struggling, your Virtual Coach can help you pause, listen, and discern what obedience looks like in that moment.

Why this matters.
We know that making disciples doesn’t just happen in meetings or Bible studies.
It happens in the messy, ordinary spaces of life, at work, in the neighborhood, at the gym, around the dinner table. That’s why this tool exists, to remind us that every conversation can become Kingdom soil.
It’s not about perfect words or polished answers. It’s about learning to walk with Jesus in our everyday rhythms and helping others do the same.
The Virtual Disciple-Making Coach is built on the same principles that shape the Missional Disciple-Making Collective:
🎯 Identify, Obey, and Invest.
It helps you identify where someone is on the pathway, obey what God’s prompting you to do next, and invest in relationships that multiply.
A gift for our disciple-makers.
The Virtual Coach comes free with the Premium Disciple-Making Cohort Membership on Substack.
As a small thank-you for journeying with us, we’re offering 25% off your subscription with the link below.
But honestly, more than a promotion, this is an invitation to keep growing, keep listening, and keep stepping into the story God’s already writing through your life.
Because every moment matters.
Whether you’re comforting a grieving co-worker, encouraging a neighbor, or walking alongside a friend who’s spiritually curious, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
You’ve got a guide. A coach helping you remember that God’s already at work—and you get to join Him.
Keep your eyes open! Let’s keep making disciples right where we live, learn, work, and play.

This is interesting. There’s no replacement for the Holy Spirit and praying in the moment, but there’s something to be said for having examples or a starting point. None of what is suggested has to be used, but it can be, and it’s a wonderful tool especially if you’re someone that struggles to relate to others emotionally.
Having a starting place can boost your confidence to step out in faith in situations you may have previously avoided.
