A few years ago, I was invited to a weekend event that radically changed how I read the Bible and understand God's overarching story.
Julie and I attended a weekend walk through the Bible with the Schmoyers, good friends of ours from near Cincinnati. After that weekend, I haven’t read the Bible the same way since. It was second only to my personal journey to Israel in helping me understand the Bible's overarching story.
After processing the experience and recognizing how it changed my paradigm of the Bible, I was trained and certified in facilitating the 11-session Midrash experience. Midrash is an ancient rabbinical form of teaching in which a group reads the story, engages in a discovery process, and walks it out in community.
On October 2-4, 2026, we are going to get together in Hohenwald, TN, on a beautiful property and take this journey from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22 together. And I’d love to see you there!
