Yes, That’s My Voice
When the paperback and Kindle versions were released, the number one request I got wasn't for a study guide or a workbook.
It was my voice reading my book.
People did not just want the book read to them. They wanted it read in my voice, with my inflections, and with the fire that was in my belly when I put pen to paper six months ago.
I get it. This material was not born in a classroom. It came out of twenty-plus years of prayer walks, awkward first conversations, cafe tables, campfires, failures I would rather not talk about, and a whole lot of ordinary people who said “YES” to the mission of Jesus in the places where they live, learn, work, and play.
So I sat down and narrated all of it myself.
Every chapter.
Every story.
Every “It’s Your Move” challenge at the end of each chapter.

⏱️ About 40 minutes per chapter, which is one commute, one workout, or one long walk around the neighborhood

Do the math on that, and you will figure out pretty quickly that I am not professional voice talent. 🤣😂🤣 HAHA!
But here is what I can promise you. It is from the heart, and it is sincere. You will hear where I get fired up. You will hear where I slow down. You will hear a guy who actually believes this stuff because he has lived it.

For the stay-at-home mom whose neighborhood feels like a mission field she does not know how to engage. For the young adult who is done with a Christianity that asks them to come to church but never trains them to BE the church. For that 72-year-old woman in the book who has everything she needs and does not know it yet.
