This is the real word on discipleship - wherever you are is an opportunity to preach Christ, live the life of Christ and win souls.

I like the idea that this is less about adding another obligation and more about paying attention to the life already in front of you. The emphasis on moments rather than appointments makes the whole thing feel more human and less like a program.

A great word and great advice!

You are addressing an issue I have been pondering for some time now. The Lord said, "Follow me and I will make you fisher's of men.". Yet the modern church spends great time and effort in teaching fishing lessons and techniques. Why not spend that time and energy in helping people learn to follow Jesus, and let him make fisher's of men.

I have no idea how someone can be a disciple maker in our culture without creating overlap and integrating disciple making into normal life. We’re just too busy to think that we can add disciple making into our schedule on top of everything else.

I tend to think that the workplace is the best place to create overlap. You have to spend 40 hours there every week which is a ton of time, so it has the greatest potential for disciple making. I feel so adamant about this idea that I have been pushing people to really choose wisely where they work. And avoid working from home at all costs if you want to be a disciple maker!

This is spot on. And it means every member of the body can be involved in discipleship.

YES! Jamie. Thanks for reading. Let’s de-categorize our lives and live on mission!
