Another facet of the upside down kingdom. Such a great reminder that we don't need to live with a scarcity mindset when we serve the giver of every good thing.
Wow Kevin. I actually got choked up when I read this. I so desperately just want to use everything I’ve been gifted by God to serve and be his light wherever I go. Most of the time, I feel like I’m falling short or that the things I do don’t really make a difference.
Your gratitude for what was me just wanting to see and contribute to helping you soar means more than you probably even realize.
Thank you. And, to anyone reading this, I’ll add this. What Kevin described in here isn’t easy. Everything in this world will tell you it’s the wrong path, that you’re being taken advantage of, that if you don’t change there won’t be enough left for you. You’ll also feel it in your bones all the time. The ache from your sin nature is hard. You have to actively fight against it.
However, God always holds true on his promises. He will always give you an abundance, even in the moments when it doesn’t feel like it. And, you’re never alone, even when nobody stands with you. Jesus will always be right there helping you take one step forward and growing more like him each day.
I'm having a hard time articulating what I'd like to comment here. This post is an answer to what has been distressing me, especially over the last day or so. I don't quite know how to express it.
I have a problem: I am not on the side of the equation that the post is encouraging me to be on.
For the last day, I have been stressing that the people who could most help me think through my current challenges with my "ministry" are the ones who are most busy.
Hey Larry! I’d be happy to get in a call and see what we could explore. I think so far I’m not quite sure what vision the Lord has given you. We can chat that out for sure. Blessings, brother.
Very much feel like another ordinary “no one would know who I am walking down the street” dude!
This: “They stewarded it like a seed to be sown” SO on point with what the Spirit has been saying and doing in my life this last year.
Grateful for your passion to be a disciple-maker and to encourage others to do the same.
Thank You, Em! The Kingdom of God is backwards and upside down! The invisible make the biggest impact.
