I will attempt a brief response to a relatively complex view of Transformation.

First, I agree with the entire thrust of the statement. However, because of personality and background differences, I am sure I will say it differently.

Jesus mentioned transformation at Nazareth. His mission was to complete Isiah 61 plus a bit more. It is to heal the inner life of the heart, the outer injustices, and the reproducing family systems to produce healthy leaders.

This is our challenge.

I have been in a profession and a teaching ministry focused on fulfilling the mission at Nazareth.

James 5:13-20 is a picture of how such gatherings could look.

Good stuff Gary! It is a complicated matter. I think there are many a factors to the transformation of a persons heart. Living in faith community simply “sets the table” for the feast of the transformation that happens by and through the Holy Spirit. Thank you Gary!

When we meet wiith openenss and grace the deep heart seems to slowly open and the Spirit begins to reveal the hidden places of fear, guilt, shame and past trauma so it can come into the light of Christ. That light purify and release the grip of fear with the love of Jesus.

Our teaching helps people listen to eqach other with gracious sensitivity and reflection so the darkness that hides my reality can emerge. We just competed our premier course that leads participants slowly and experientially through the steps of allowing others to be real and observe their own reality.

Our goal is Self-Coaching and Peer Support over time.

Some call it soul care or spiritual growth. Jesus called it “Healing the broken hearted and setting the captives free.”
